Meet Will

I'm Will.

I build websites for local businesses across Liverpool and Merseyside.

Not agency projects. Not hand-offs.

Just direct work with someone who understands what you need and gets it done properly.

Most of the people I work with don't come to me for a "website".

They come because something isn't working — they're not getting enough enquiries, or they're relying too much on word of mouth.

That's usually where I start.

What I Actually Do

I work directly with businesses that need more consistent enquiries — not just a better-looking website.

That usually means fixing one or more of three things:

  • not being visible when people are searching
  • not building trust quickly enough
  • not making it easy to get in touch

Everything I build is focused on solving those problems in a simple, practical way.

How I Started — And What It Means For You

In 2003 I was Head of Coaching and Development at Airtours Holidays. Training teams across the UK meant serious overhead and logistics. What we would now call e-learning looked like the answer — but suppliers were quoting close to seven figures.

I believed it could be done for less, started building the solutions myself, and leaned on what I already knew: I'd been coding since the ZX Spectrum days, and HTML and PHP felt logical in the same way.

The learning support sites I built brought that side of the work down significantly. Shortly after, I was made redundant. I started my first web design company. More than twenty years later I'm still building — still learning as things change.

I'm not telling you that to show off. It's context for how I work now: I don't panic when something needs untangling, and I care whether the work saves you hassle and brings enquiries — not whether it sounds clever.

I got into web work because a real business had a real cost problem, not because it was fashionable. People still need to:

  • understand what you do quickly
  • feel confident they can trust you
  • know what to do next

That's what I focus on.

Fast Without Cutting Corners

I use modern tools to work efficiently, but I don't cut corners.

The benefit to you is simple:

  • faster turnaround
  • clean, reliable builds
  • no unnecessary delays

Speed is useful — but only when the end result is solid.

Straightforward, No Nonsense

If something needs fixing, you speak to me.

If something needs changing, I do it.

No tickets. No waiting. No being passed around.

Just direct, accountable work.
